The Camps and Retreat Centers are owned by the Florida Conference of the United
Methodist Church with the purpose of being an extension of the ministry of Jesus Christ in
the world; providing a helpful setting for church and church related groups to hold
retreats, planning sessions, special events and seminars.

Florida Conference Camping has its roots in the Warren W.
Willis Camp.
The first summer camping program was held in 1948. Through the years a lot has changed,
but youth, children and adult groups are still coming to this picturesque modern facility
today for fellowship, recreation and to worship.
