The Camps and Retreat Centers are owned by the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church with the purpose of being an extension of the ministry of Jesus Christ in the world; providing a helpful setting for church and church related groups to hold retreats, planning sessions, special events and seminars.

Lake Asbury is a pristine spring-fed lake. It is surrounded by a retreat center that provides small groups with a unique, private setting in North Florida. MAP

The Center is located just north of Leesburg on 87 wooded acres on the shores of Lake Griffin. Groups of all sizes are invited to come to the Center and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. MAP

• The South Florida Camp is located on the shore of the Beautiful Caloosahatchee River near Alva, Florida. This camp serves as a spiritual retreat facility for many diverse groups in the South Florida Region. MAP

Florida Conference Camping has its roots in the Warren W. Willis Camp. The first summer camping program was held in 1948. Through the years a lot has changed, but youth, children and adult groups are still coming to this picturesque modern facility today for fellowship, recreation and to worship. MAP
